About us

The story of Sharda Classic is a heartwarming tale of family tradition and hard work. The restaurant was founded in 1952 by my father and grandmother, who sold only country liquor at first. Over the years, we expanded our offerings to include IMF (Indian made foreign Liquor) and other beverages. In 1985, we began serving food, starting with just three dishes: Mutton Suka, Mutton Xacuti, and Rassa Omlete. The food was a hit, and the restaurant quickly became popular.

In 1994, we moved to a new location and renamed the restaurant to Sharda Classic in honor of our mother. The new restaurant was much larger, and it quickly became one of the most popular restaurants in Goa. The restaurant is known for its authentic Goan cuisine, especially its Mutton Suka. The restaurant also sources fresh fish, which is a priority for us.

In recent years, we have expanded to three locations. We also started taking catering orders. The restaurant is a family business, and three generations of the family are involved in the business. The restaurant is proud to continue the legacy that was carefully created by our parents.

We are glad that the restaurant is still going strong after all these years. It's clear that our family's passion for food and customer service has helped to make the restaurant a success.
